Review the Admitted Student timeline below, 和 complete all necessary steps to confirm your enrollment at BHSU. Reminders will be sent to your 电子邮件 address on file, as each of these important items becomes available 和 as deadlines approach.

September - December

Pay Housing Deposit & 应用 For On-Campus Housing

Submit ACT/SAT Test Scores (可选)

Test scores are not required for admission to BHSU. 然而, submission of test scores may result in an increased scholarship award, 和 will assist in initial course placement.

December - April

应用 For Financial Aid

参观 Federal Student Aid website to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid once made available. BHSU's school code is (003459).

BHSU Scholarship Deadline (2月. 1st, 2024)

Activate Your BHSU Yellowjacket Student Accounts

These will be vital accounts throughout your time as a BHSU student. Watch your 电子邮件 for notification on when 和 how to activate these accounts.  Your accounts must be active prior to your New Student Orientation Day.

Sign Up For New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation (NSO) is for students who have been admitted to BHSU, 和 will start in the Summer or Fall 2024 semesters. At NSO, you will register for your first year of BHSU classes.
You will need your BHSU Student ID Number, which was 电子邮件ed 和 mailed to you in your official letter of acceptance.

April - June

Submit Your Immunization 记录 (MMR: Measles, Mumps, Rubella)

点击 在这里 to submit a copy of your immunization records. (Proof of two doses of the MMR immunization, proof of antibody titer, or signed medical or religious exemption form). This is required per South Dakota Codified Law 和 South Dakota Board of Regents policy 2.3.

Submit Official Final High School 和 College Transcripts

Request that your final official transcript be sent directly to the BHSU 招生 Office from your high school, 大学, or university.

To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly from your high school, 大学, 和 universities attended directly to the 招生 Office through an electronic ordering service or via mail to BHSu 招生 Office, 1200 University St Unit: 9502, 用鱼叉捕鱼, SD 57799.

Attend Your Selected Orientation Day

During New Student Orientation you will meet with Professional Advisors 和 faculty that will assist you with creating your first year class schedule.

Receive Room Assignment 和 Roommate Information

Fall housing assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis, in the order they were received. Housing assignments will be made in May, 和 sent to students via 电子邮件.

June - August

Purchase Required Books 和 Supplies

Move-In Weekend Begins: August 23rd-25th
